I am a heart attack waiting to happen
August 20, 2008 by Jayson Hunter
I decided to post this from a reader regarding a grim prognosis her doctor recently gave her. I believe it will be useful to those that don't eat breakfast and wonder why they can't lose weight or why they are hungry all the time.
I've been receiving you newsletters for a while now and I really enjoy them. Just last week my doctor informed that I was a heart attack just waiting to happen, and the sad part about that is I'm only 29 yrs. old. I gained an extreme amount of weight 4 yrs. ago during my pregnancy and since then it's probably doubled. My before pregnacy weight was 160 and currently I'm at 257. I'm very interested in joining your bootcamp and look forward to being apart of the Friends & Family Night this upcoming Wednesday. One of my biggest problems is my nutrition, I usually skip breakfast and overeat during lunch and dinner;can you provide me with tips on a healthy breakfast?
Hi Jackie
One of the reasons why you overeat at lunch and dinner is because you are skipping breakfast. Why is it that you don’t eat breakfast? Is it time? Just not hungry? This is goal number 1: start eating some type of breakfast. Then goal #2 is choosing a healthy snack to eat mid morning so that you don’t overeat at lunch. You breakfast could be hard boiled egg, Quaker Oats weight control oatmeal, You could also have yogurt and fruit. There are a lot of combinations you could eat. First you need to ask yourself why you don’t eat breakfast and then create your plan from there.
If you look on the right side of this post you can get the free fat loss starter kit and it provides 36 potent foods, 17 tips to start shedding fat and the lies and myths of food manufacturers. If you start implementing some of these strategies and foods into your diet you will see that you start eating healthier and probably starting to lose weight.

Thank you so much for the quick response. My day usually starts aroung 5:45 a.m., I arrive at work at 7:00 and usually don't eat anything until around 10:30 or 11:00; as you can imagine, by this time I'm starving. My lunch is typically fast food and dinner is usually not eaten til around 800-830. My family has a very busy schedule so we probably eat out at least 3-4 days a week. Last Monday I started not eating after 7 p.m……still working on getting the breakfast and the mid morning snack. I've downloaded your books and can't wait to see what your program has to offer.

Going that long between meals will cause you to overeat for sure. Get started on those free reports and start implementing the techniques in those reports. Once you start eating more frequently and getting in breakfast then you will be ready to follow the dress size reduction diet if you so desire. First you need to build that base for nutrition and then expand from there. Definitely cutting vegetables ahead of time, hard boiled eggs, yogurts, fruit, cottage cheese would be all good things to have handing when you are the go all the time to make sure you get in the necessary nutrition throughout the day.
If you won’t eat breakfast would you drink a meal replacement shake? It is a great way to get in the necessary nutrients for those that skip meals.
