I was watching the [tag]Biggest Loser TV show[/tag] the other night and they had the contestants do what they called a "Hall of Truth". It as a video clip that had them mentioning what they typically eat in a day and I guess it was in a hall so that is where they came up with the name.
For example one contestant said he drank a 6 pack of soft drinks a day. Well, they took all these statements that the contestants said and put calories or pounds of sugar after their statements.
So this 6 pack a day equals 412 pounds of sugar in a year.
Another scenario was someone ate 890,000 calories in a year or how about 25,000 grams of fat.
When you think about it some of these number are staggering and horrifying.
Can you imagine if you ate 412 pounds of sugar just from soft drinks in one year.
What is your hall of truth?
Take a typical day and determine how much sugar you ate that day, how many carbohydrate grams you ate , and how many calories you consumed or how many grams of fat. Since this is an average day extrapolate that out for one year to see what your numbers look like.
Is it staggering?
Remember this doesn't even include those days you eat ice cream, cake, candy bars or an extra soft drink.
Now go to this link Healthy Weight Loss Program and get the free report I created on the 36 potent foods that will make you healthier. If your average food intake doesn't include many of these foods then you need to start incorporating them. Then revisit your hall of truth in 3 months and see the massive improvements you have made over the course of 3 months and see how that can compound for 1 full year.
If you are one known to eat a lot of sugar or fat I would bet after substituting these foods for your bad choices that you could reduce the pounds of sugar and fat by hundreds of pounds. Imagine that and what type of effect that would have on your body.
Get started write down your hall of truth right now and then work in the 36 potent foods.

Hi Autumn
I am happy to hear that you are taking action. That is great news and the most important step. It can be difficult to eat healthy on a limited income, but if you watch for specials and promotions you can usually get healthy foods for cheap. Just remember you will find yourself eating less volume of food when you incorporate lean protein and fruits and vegetables into your diet. In the end this means less dollars spent because you aren't eating as much overall food.
Keep us updated on how you are doing with your eating healthier and weight loss.
