Losing weight in front of the camera could be the key to a successful diet

August 18, 2008 by Jayson Hunter

How many times have you fudged some weight loss numbers to make yourself happy?  How many times have you told someone you didn't eat something when you really did just so they would think you are sticking to your program?

Well, I have an interesting idea to hold yourself accountable and take your honesty and dedication of losing weight to another level.

My suggestion is that you video tape your weigh ins and measurements every 2 weeks and then post the results on a blog or email the results out to all your friends or colleagues who know you are trying to lose weight.

It is really your own reality show starring yourself.

Do you really want to lose weight quickly?

Do you really want to prove to yourself that you can lose weight?

If so here is what you do to hold yourself accountable.

1.  Record your measurements and bodyweight and record this so you have video proof.
2.  Post this to your blog or email it to all your friends and colleagues that will help keep you accountable.
3.  Then every 2 weeks re-record and take your measurements and bodyweight.
4.  Post these results just like you did in the beginning.

Now you have an honest way to report and keep yourself dedicated to finally losing weight permanently.  If you want create a prize for yourself like the Biggest Loser show does.  If you meet your goals you get the prize.  Record this also.

If you need someone to send all this to you can send it to me and I would be more than happy to hold you accountable for your weight loss goals.
