Hi Jason,
I own a Personal Training and Pilates studio in Maryland and I read your emails often. I was wondering if I need your permission to have you as a link on our website. I love your articles and I often print them for my trainers etc. Also, do you have any articles that pertain to men with regards to weight loss. I notice that your target audience is obviously women and I have several business men that are obese or severely overweight and I think your info would be helpful. Let me know what you think. Thanks for the great information!

Sincerely,
Debi Vincent

Hi Jayson,

It's amazing the stupid things people will do to lose weight. You are the voice of reason regarding weight loss plans in a sea of stupid (and sometimes dangerous) plans. I'm an exercise physiologist and fitness trainer and I even tell my clients to get your book--why should I re-invent the wheel?? It's good, solid, lifestyle eating.
Chris Coleson didn't do his body any favors in the long run on the McDonalds diet . He didn't learn how to eat better, and he most certainly lost a LOT of calorie-burning muscle by eating so few calories. That will come back to haunt him when he goes back to "regular" eating.

Keep up the great work, Jayson!

What will they think of next! It's great that he wants to lose weight but since he's not learning how to keep it off it's highly probable that he will regain it... and more. Subway... McDonald's.... what will be next?

Thanks, Jayson, for giving us a blog that gives sound advice and great tips! Keep up the good work!

Hi Simona

This is a very good question and I am glad you asked it. Your workout shake is the one drink/food that you should take after your workout no matter what time it is. Immediately after your workouts is when you body is craving protein and fast digesting carbs. You won't be storing these calories as fat even late at night. You will be utilizing them for recovery.

I would remove the spinach though just to speed up the delivery of the protein and carbs into the bloodstream.

Great question and keep posting your questions and comments if you have them.

Hi Jason,
I never comment on anythink, but I have got question which is bugging me for while. And your video kind of explain,but...
I'm very busy mum of four, age 9 and under and I had recently gain weight because of hormone replacement t.I'm done with that and I'm trying to shed the pounds.I'm very discipline with food and I work out twice a day, most of the days.Because I'm so busy with kids I work out in the morning sometimes between 5-6am and after that usually around 9pm.You are saying how important is to have post workout meal, which in my case is 1c soy milk, banana and some frozen strawberries with spinach.I want to ask if it is ok to drink this so late in night if I'm trying to loose weight I do not weigh myself or count calories.I'm loosing weight,my cloth fit better,I tried not to drink it in night time but my morning workout was not so good,I felt tired...muscle wise.
Thanks a lot.Simona
