If I had to pick on exercise to lose weight fast that looks so easy yet is so challenging it would be the abdominal plank. I mean really all you have to do is hold yourself in a straight plank position. How hard can that be and you would be losing weight fast?

What did you do for your workout today?
April 16, 2008 by Jayson Hunter · 1 Comment
I just had to write this before I got off this high I am on. You see here in the Midwest we have had some strange whether this winter.
Heck, just the other day it was 32 degrees and snow flurries. Isn't this the middle of April?
Anyways, I am looking forward to some warmer weather and getting outside.
Today was a great day. It was sunny warmer and it energized me for a great workout.
On my drive to the gym I decided to follow one of Alwyn Cosgrove's Afterburn Workouts to get a really good workout in.
Then when I was done and driving home I didn't want to go back inside so I stopped at a park by my house, which has a hill and ran some sprints and plyometrics.
I am sure I will feel it tommorrow, but it felt great.
Did you know you can get a natural high from working out because of the endorphins that you release when working out.
It kept me in a great mood and I was proud of what I was able to do.
Now, you may wonder why I didn't run for 2 miles around the park.
The answer is I hate slow boring cardio. I have always hated it even though I was good at the distance events in high school I hated doing them.
So I ran sprints in high school even though I wasn't very fast or competitive in that event I did it anyways because it entertained me.
Little did I know that I was doing the same workouts that the experts now preach to burn fat fast.
Little did I know that I was molding my metabolism to burn fast all day long and to keep me thin.
No wonder I could eat like a horse and never gain any fat.
The moral of the story is this:
If you want to feel great and release all those endorphins as well as burn fat to show off that lean muscular physique then high intensity interval training is the key to your success.
If you want to learn more about Alwyn's Afterburn workouts and the workout I did check it out here.
The research is more conclusive every day in regards to interval training and fat loss so don't delay. Now that it should be getting warm in all parts of the country get out to your local park and run some sprints. It doesn't matter if you are overweight and can't run much.
If all you could do is run 20ft and then walk 50ft and then run 20ft this would be interval training and better than just walking. Start slow and take it one workout at a time. Before you know it you will be working out hard in the gym and outside all the time looking thinner and thinner.

Bathing Suit Season Strategy #3

I'm not just a Registered Dietitian. I've also been a certified fitness professional for over ten years. And as you probably already know by now, exercise and proper nutrition go hand in hand. I realize you might not like it very much. But it's true. There are a lot of things that add up to looking better naked. None bigger than the combination of the CORRECT form of exercise and eating habits.
As I've written before, if you don't want to know the truth then this newsletter is simply not for you. If you want to continue to be lied to and manipulated by food companies and 'miracle solution' marketers, well, be my guest. I can only lead you to the water, I can't make you drink. Sorry, I had to write that because typically when I start talking about exercise people start to cringe.
Ok, now that's out of the way, let's look at the VERY bright side of exercise.
1- It creates that muscular/tight and tone look every woman is after
2- You'll sleep so much better
3- It can improve your sex life dramatically
4- It provides endless energy
5- Your self-esteem will soar
And the list goes on and on and on. Seriously.
Your attitude towards exercise is the only thing holding you back. If you look at the incredible benefits of fitness you start to change your outlook towards exercise. Why dread something that is so incredibly valuable to your body? Besides helping you look great naked it also, as I'm sure you're aware, delivers a ton of health benefits.
Don't forget as part of my Dress Size Reduction Diet program you also get numerous FR.EE bonuses on fitness. One of which is my friend Donna Krech's "The Secret To Never Ending Motivation." I know you'll find it an invaluable tool on your quest to look great in your bathing suit this season.
I know you can do it.

The Secret of Fast Easy Weight Loss

I was reading an article on MSN Health and Fitness today and it reminded me of this group of women that would come into the gym all the time.
The title of the article is called "So Long, Muffin Top" and this is why it pertains to this group of women.
Every morning around 9:30 a group of women would come walking in after dropping their kids off at school. Before they got to the gym though many would stop at the local Starbucks down the road and get themselves a muffin and/or a latte or other high calorie coffee drink.
Well, lets assume it was just a muffin. They probably consumed around 400 of primarily simple sugars without much protein or fiber if any.
So they then come over to the gym and start to do their workout.
Yet, their workout consisted of talking next to each other on the elliptical machine for a while or reading the paper while exercising.
I don't know about you, but I do know that to effectively workout you need to be working hard enough so that you can't carry on a 20 minute conversation or comfortably read the paper.
Especially if you consumed 400-800 calories from Starbucks 20 minutes earlier.
Whether or not you stop at Starbucks or another local coffee shop on the way to the gym here is what you need to do to ensure that you burn the maximum amount of calories for fast easy weight loss.
Complete 3 circuits of 4 exercises each resting only long enough to get to the next exercise in that circuit. Once a circuit of 4 exercises is complete rest 60 seconds and repeat for 2 more circuits. Then move to the next circuit and repeat.
You can do this with cardio as well and instead of changing machines go from a sprint effort to a moderate pace on whatever you may be using. Repeat this for up to 20 minutes.
You work out like this and you will be burning mega calories and have [tag]fast easy weight loss[/tag].
Oh yeh don't eat high calorie muffins or drink mega calorie coffees before your workout either. :) It will only make you have to work that much harder to lose the fat.

1b: Bodyweight Squats to Chair: 10-15 reps

You can complete this workout 2-3x a week to burn calories fast and melt body fat.
An Easy Way to Burn Calories During the Holidays

Have you ever heard of a [tag]pedometer[/tag]?
If you haven't it is this little pager like device that you clip to the waistline of your pants or shorts and it records the number of steps you take.
Knowing that we will be eating more throughout this next month we need to make sure we counteract the extra calories with extra activity and exercise.
An easy way to increase activity is just by walking. On average most individuals only take around 2000 steps a day. We suggest for moderate activity you should be taking 10,000 steps a day.
Studies have been conducted that showed when using a pedometer to measure steps that someones physical activity increased by 26.9% or an additional 2,183 steps a day. This is significant when it comes to fat loss and burning calories.
So after your big feast tommorrow instead of sitting on the couch for 5 hours go out and get a walk in with your family or friends. If you don't have a pedometer just walk for 30 minutes. It will do wonders in burning off any extra calories you consumed for the day and that way you don't have to feel guilty about it.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
