It takes the right mental attitude

August 29, 2008 by Jayson Hunter · Leave a Comment

I just recently got back from a week long vacation in Colorado.

We had a great time and got to see many really neat things.

The one thing I noticed in every town we stayed in is that 75% of the people either walked or rode their bike to get somewhere.

In one town I think 3 out of 4 people were walking or riding.  The only people in vehicles were tourists or construction workers.

It seemed very natural for them and it was a part of their every day life.  They didn't have expressions on their faces like this
was work or a struggle.

They just did it because they made it a part of their life.

This is one of the things I teach to my private clients and in the Dress Size Reduction Diet program.

It needs to become natural.

If you think of weight loss as a chore or a job you most likely will never be successful for the long term.

You have to teach yourself that exercise is a part of your NEW life.  Sound nutrition is a part of your NEW life.

Keep repeating that to yourself over and over at least 20 times a day so that it becomes embedded in your subconscious mind.

Before you know it you will be wanting to exercise, you will be wanting to eat healthy and you will be active like the people I
observed as if it is a part of your life and you are comfortable with it.

I know you can do it!

Yours in health

PS:  If you need a kickstart to help these challenges become permanent habits then pick up a copy of the Dress Size Reduction Diet program and let me teach you how to make these very important changes a lifestyle change.  As always I am reachable if you have any questions or need any help when you are on the program.

It is obvious to most people that our health is affected by what we eat; now, however, scientists have shown that it is also a matter of how often we eat. The key to successful weight loss is wanting to be healthy

August 16, 2008 by Jayson Hunter · Leave a Comment

It's all about health.  That is what Peg Falcone of the SoutherniIlinoisan.com  says.

In this time of praise for trim body images that influence our thinking about our own shapes, this is easy to forget. The campaign against "obesity" - a particularly ugly word - may also distract our focus from the very real benefits of healthy weight.

It is good to see someone coming out with more of the truth and behind the scene info regarding this "exercise pill" study.

ScienceDaily (Aug. 6, 2008) — Recently, researchers at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, a research organization focused on biology and its relation to health, published a study in the journal Cell on the results of a substance that increased exercise endurance without daily exertion when tested in mice. Media reports have described this substance as an “exercise pill,” potentially eliminating the need for exercise.
