Lose 31 pounds fast without cardio

I've got a buddy who is a fitness pro in Louisiana. He's a complete trip!
I love the guy to death, but that slow, southern drawl often has me wondering what the heck he's saying.
But make no mistake about it, when my friend Todd Scott talks about getting 6 pack abs he comes across CRYSTAL clear.
Todd and I talk training at least once per week. And most of our conversations center around how baffiling it is people STILL do long, slow, boring cardio routines thinking it will strip the fat from their belly.
(Note: One of Todd's clients recently lost 31 lbs without doing a single SECOND of cardio!)
He reminded me to tell you the story of a guy named Mark Pfeltz who set the Guinness Book of World Records for the most sit-ups.
Mark Pfeltz did over 45,000 situps IN A ROW and STILL did not have a six pack of abs. I'm pretty sure you can even find a picture of it on Todd's http://SixPackAbsFast.com site!
Sorry, I sometimes get carried away when I write. So yeah, my point is, doing endless crunches and/or sit-ups isn't the answer either.
You see, Todd is like me. He uses high-energy resistance training as the basis for his body transformation programs.

How to lose 15 pounds fast

Question: I have a question also. I am 6ft. 174 lbs. I am in good shape but my abs are losing their visibility. I wouldn't call it a "gut" but some fat surrounding my abs. I can still see them in the mirror, but I'm not as ripped as I was a few years ago (I'm 30 now). I'd like to be ripped at 180lbs., but it seems like a never ending battle of gaining muscle, but losing my abs to get to that goal. Obesity worsens the impact of asthma

I wanted to make sure that everyone read this today because there are millions of women that are overweight and millions that have Asthma. A study recently released noted that obesity can worsen the impact of asthma and actually mask the severity of it in standard tests.

My mother used to be friends with this woman named Elaine.
And every so often I would ask my mom what diet Elaine was on now. Because it was always something.
It was the Ice Cream Diet one day. The Grapefruit Diet the next.
Yes, just like every serial dieter you know, Elaine too was always overweight.

Is this hormone making you fat?

I took Liane and our daughter Hailey camping this weekend for a little Mother's Day getaway.
We had a great time as a family except for the severe storm in the middle of the night on Saturday.
Hailey of course slept through the whole thing while Liane and I laid there staring at the ceiling of our camper listening to the hail and 50 mph winds.
Oddly enough the storm reminded me of something important I've been meaning to write you about, so I got up and made a quick note to teach you about a very important hormone that may be making you fat.
You see, when it comes to nutrition your body reacts in certain ways to the amount of calories you feed it.
When you follow a fad diet plan that has you eating low calorie pre-made foods, or severly restricting your calories by eating only 3 meals per day, there is an action that takes place in your body.
It causes your body to elevate levels of the hormone Lipoprotein Lipase.
The research has shown this is the hormone which causes your body to slow down the speed of your metabolism.
In other words, it's the hormone which keeps you from burning fat. Instead it KEEPS it on your body.

Fat Loss Numbers Don't Lie

My buddy AJ Roberts is an insanely strong power lifter and amazing personal trainer.
AJ has a problem that many personal trainers face. He just can't get some of his clients to come to grips with the fact what the scale says just doesn't matter.
"The scale's not moving", she said.
"Yes."
"Quite a few", was the answer.
That's where the disconnect is. People are told by these diet centers - and you know exactly the ones I'm talking about - that your weight is what matters.
Yes, they know your body will melt fat FAST from the increase in your metabolism.
They also know your body composition is going to change. And due to the fact you're going to have more lean tissue - FAT BURNING TISSUE - your weight might stay the same.
